Top 10 Artists

Had to do a list like this.. sorry haters
1Nas

Illmatic is probably my favorite album of all time.. aside from that he was indeed inconsistent and STILL number one of this list.. what really fell off was his production.. why not stick with premier, q-tip, pete rock, large professor.. baffles me. But God's Son, It Was Written, and Stillmatic are still pretty solid albums in my eyes.
2Opeth

Solid discography.. one of the most versatile artists especially within the DM genre. Newest album was eh.. but I understood the new direction. Blackwater Park is one of my favorite songs and the album is insanely solid.
3Led Zeppelin

Listenin now to Physical Graffiti. It's pretty damn addicting. Jimmy Page was the man as was Bonham, Plant, and JPJ. What a great line up they had. Only a few weak songs come to mind. The rest is untouchable.
4Death

Another solid DM discography.. even more-so than Opeths. Symbolic and Human are incredible. Chucks lyrics and song writing are some of the most intriguing i've heard.
5Mark Lanegan

Mark is dark as hell. Dark music hits me every time. Nothing but raw emotion from this man. And that voice is hauntingly effective.
6Massive Attack

Mezzanine.
7Bad Religion

Great lyrics. Simple raw effective songs and subject matter. To the point and never over done.
8Mobb Deep

The Infamous is Illmatic-esque and for that alone they earn the 8 spot. Hell on Earth was pretty solid as well. Decent songs littered throughout the rest of their discog. Havoc is one of my favorite producers in the genre.
9Pink Floyd

Obvious reasons. Dark and psychedelic.. solid discog.. favorite album is Dark Side of the Moon but I don't recall ever hearing a weak track from this band. Comfortably Numb is a feel good anthem for me.
10Pantera

I love Cowboys from Hell. Much more than Vulgar Display actually. But all solid albums for the most part.. Reinventing the steal was ehh but over all great band. RIP Dimebag
