James Bond Reboot
Skyfall was pretty good but still prefer Casino out of the non Connery films.
If I could reboot Bond this is what I would do. It would probably be a flop
and kill the franchise because people want amazing stunts, caricatured
villains and exploding cars but whatever. Music is just some current plays. |

It will be a period piece set back in the 50's and early 60's again during the cold war and
Bond will be portrayed correctly as an ex WW2 naval intelligence officer in his late 30's
who has joined MI6. He is relatively fit but no action hero. |

Bond's character will be ruthless and devoid of pity. There will still be some black humour
but nothing too flippant. It will have a feel similair to Dr No and From Russia With Love but
with modern production values and all cheese removed. |

Blofeld will re-appear but he won't have a white cat. He will be a spy who has infiltrated
MI6 as a double-agent working for SPECTRE. |

The Aston DB5 will be present even though it didnt come out till '63 and will have no mods
apart from the tuned up engine, rotating number plates and bullet proof glass. |

No machine guns or hi-tech weapons for either Bond or any of the villians, Bond uses
a walther-ppk and thats it. |

Volume One
No 'taking over the world' plots or arch-villains with some caricatured physical
characteristic. It will all be relatively low key stuff with cold war plots, some small scale
action sequences and the odd car chase. |
