SitarHero
11.15.12 | No Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden or Third Eye Blind. List is automatic fail. |
TronaldDump
11.15.12 | Replace 1 with Dirt and you're all set. |
Ethics
11.15.12 | very good list except for #1
#1 shouldn't even be on here
have a hard time understanding how you put it there with all these other incredible albums |
TronaldDump
11.15.12 | Nice call on #46, should be much higher though imo |
Chortles
11.15.12 | sweet pix |
Trebor.
11.15.12 | Pretty much the 90's chart on rym |
WeepingBanana
11.15.12 | people who hate on nirvana are dumb
although In Utero is better than Nevermind |
demigod!
11.15.12 | yeah it is but Nevermind still rules |
ZombieDenial
11.15.12 | Nevermind is the only one that I'm certain of it's placement. If In Utero had been Nirvana's most famous/breakout album, everyone would be balls deep in Nevermind. And I hope SitarHero is trolling. |
SpritzSpritz
11.15.12 | f#a# duh |
Ethics
11.15.12 | i don't hate nirvana, nevermind is just really boring |
TumsFestival
11.15.12 | 47 should be soooooooo much higher |
BillTheButcher
11.15.12 | too many great albums created in the 90s. what a decade for rock. |
Ignimbrite
11.15.12 | Through

Vicho
11.16.12 | No Pearl Jam, Green Day, Faith No More, NOFX, The Offspring, Alice In Chains, etc.
But there are some great albums. |
YoYoMancuso
11.16.12 | props for 12. other than that you're missing a lot of things, specifically AiC |
Polyethylene
11.16.12 | Pretty damn accurate in inclusions at least, would've loved some FNM but hey. So glad Goat was there. |
derho
11.16.12 | Jesus Lizard makes me happy. Hard to choose between that and liar. Puss is like one of the best songs ever. I've got to applaud you for the diversity of this list. |
Emim
11.16.12 | let me tell you where you went wrong
not putting angel dust at #1 |
SitarHero
11.16.12 | "Nevermind is the only one that I'm certain of it's placement [...] And I hope SitarHero is trolling."
I'm not, but I'm starting to think you are. How can you not have Ten, Dirt or Superunknown on any 90's list? |
Polyethylene
11.16.12 | Goat > Liar, even if Liar has Puss. Zachariah and Gladiator are even better imo. |
porch
11.16.12 | lol at the first commenter rattling off a list of shitty bands |
oltnabrick
11.16.12 | Alice In Chains is pretty cool though...
List is missing The Shape of Punk To Come, Liquid Swords, Symbolic, Focus and Mezzanine, which i'm
surprised no one has pointed out |
porch
11.16.12 | yeah i don't like all these by any means but it's better than what most of these fucks could come up with |
oltnabrick
11.16.12 | yeah a list of Nirvana and Radiohead albums |
ButteryBiscuitBass
11.16.12 | The Holy Bible is 1. |
TumsFestival
11.16.12 | Third Eye Blind - s/t needed for any 90s list |
derho
11.16.12 | Also I'm glad I can hear the heart beating was in the top 10. Probably my favorite 90s album |
ZombieDenial
11.16.12 | oltnabrick is totally right about The Shape of Punk to Come. I swear I had it at 24. I'm gonna edit that. ButteryBiscuitBass, I also agree with The Holy Bible being an incredible album, but if it wasn't for my absolute love for the American Football LP, I'd have it at #50, prolly. derho, if I really had made this list based entirely off of my favorites (and not what I'd consider the best), Yo La Tengo would be at #6. |
ZombieDenial
11.16.12 | sonictheplumber is right there needs to be some death metal. I am ashamed at myself for not including Symbolic. I'll edit that in at #13. |
ButteryBiscuitBass
11.16.12 | Fair play man, keep on rocking. |
