Trail of Dead paying homage to Rush, Pink Floyd, Genesis, and just about every 70's prog band. The 16 minute closer is one of the best they've ever written.
A weird experiment that a lot of the old fans hated. Trail of Dead thought they were the Beatles or something. But with any Trail album there were some great songs like the title track and Sunken Dreams
Trail of Dead took it too far with all the extra bullshit. I bet the bald guy who played drums scared a lot of people. However there are redeeming qualities. The first three songs are great as well as Bells of Creation.
