Melodic Hardcore, Revised

Since I've actually taken the time to peruse the genre more thoroughly, here ra list of some of my favorites
1Modern Life Is War
Witness

After exploring metal for the majority of my early teens, this came out, and I remembered how much I love hardcore. It was my
introduction into new hardcore, as opposed to the punk my elder brother had forced on me during my childhood, and it still moves
me to this day.
2 Momentum
Whetting Occam's Razor

This album border's on crust, but mein Gott, it's a wonderful record. Some of the best melodies in the entire genre. Very thought
provoking lyrics.
3Final Fight
Under Attack

This is another one of those bands that got me back into hc when I was younger. They're more on the metal end of the spectrum.
Very anthemic and poppy.
4More Than Life
Love Let Me Go

It's unfortunate that More Than Life is a side-project, I'd love for them to get really serious and come to the US some time.
5Landscapes
Reminiscence

These dudes were like MTL's little brother, now they're a bit more Defeater-y, but they definitely rule.
6The Cold Harbour
Homebound

Yet another UK band, these dudes kind of bridge melodic hardcore and (good) post-hardcore, ala Taken, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, etc.
7The Carrier
No Love Can Save Me

It's The Carrier, nothing needs to be said.
8Love Is Red
The Hardest Fight

This is pretty borderline metalcore, but it's such a monumental album in my tastes growing up so it's gotta be on here.
9Killing The Dream
In Place, Apart

Like I said for The Carrier, dude, it's KTD.
10Endzweck
The Grapes Of Wrath

It's crazy how ahead of this whole scene these dudes were, and they're Japanese, and they're pacifists and have splits with some
awesome skram bands, so hella CMHWAK cred, nah mean?
