Steven Wilson does it again), PT Deadwing, Symphony X V, one of the last 2 Vanden Plas albums, probably Christ 0. I love Genesis' Tresspas, doesn't get enough love. |
Jethro42
10.09.12 | You can use this site to ease your discoveries on prog;
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive-rock.asp |
undertakerpt
10.09.12 | @jamietwort, both are equally laughable names for an album, and only the best prog artists would name their album after a fish right? |
undertakerpt
10.09.12 | @OmairSh, yep, i got the liquid tension albums, shoucking how many artists i forgot on this list, but cheers for the recs, starting to reach a prog overload here!
@Jethro42, you really are a kind man, but I get the feeling you want me to die of prog-o-cide! |
Jethro42
10.09.12 | hahaha but seriously take a look at it; It's the reference number 1 when it comes to prog. |

10.09.12 | @jethro42, I can't seem to get off this bloody site now! Cheers Jeff!
Just realised I forgot to put "The Mars Volta" on this list as well. Tbh i'm going to have to delete this and do another one due course. |
Jethro42
10.09.12 | Cheers man! |
menawati
10.09.12 | only problem with progarchives is you get to hear loads of great music which is so damn hard to get hold of unless u want to pay import prices |
Jethro42
10.09.12 | ^Very true |
undertakerpt
10.09.12 | @menawati, yeah i know whatcha mean, music is a drug though, and the better the shit the higher the price lol. |
OmairSh
10.09.12 | DPRP is also a great site for prog reviews, they've been around for 13 odd years and have annual awards and news, etc. Pretty cool site. |

@TheBigLebowski, I have the animals as leaders debut and it's awesome, reminded me of an endless sporadic who I also love. I also have Cult of Luna but wasn't fussed, kinda sounded like ISIS who bore be to hell! I also have deconstruction by Devin Townsend, it's pretty mental but funny as hell!
@Vinval, oooof, I'm gonna die from all this prog, thank you though! I have a scale the summit album somewhere and it is quite nice!
@Blindhouse,Lambda,MeatSalad, cheers boyos, after sludging through this list I will eventually get to your recs and leave my thoughts in your shoutboxes, may take a few years though and you'll prob have moved on to another site/died by then! But I am a man of my word so thank you again!

10.11.12 | they favour first 4 bcos they aint bothered listening to any more lol, camel went shit in the 80s but from 90's harbour of tears, rajaz and nod wink are all great albums |
undertakerpt
10.11.12 | @menawati, ahhh cool, I do enjoy a bit of the old camel, one could even say i'd "hump" them, geddit? Waaaaahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!!! So I shall splash out more of my hard earned wonga on those albums for yours, and my pleasure. |
menawati
10.11.12 | i wouldnt say splash wonga until u heard but if u do like the first 4 its a very good chance you will like those three mate |
undertakerpt
10.11.12 | @menawait, but how can one not splash his wonga, when it requires ones wonga splashing to hear the album in the first place? And don't worry, I have plenty of wonga to splash seeing as I am a very successful undertaker and people are dying to use my services........ |
