This Year Shreds

Last year was awesome, but 2012 has had some awesome releases that rI've really, really renjoyed! Just a top ten of what's been ticklin' the old rpickle. nigga prease. I didn't make enough rslots, but it's too late for that now! I can't wait for the rnew Deftones to drop! Any other great rreleases coming out? I would die for new A Wilhelm Scream

An Awesome Wave

Might've overdone it when I first got this, but I listened to it non-stop for 3 days.
Awesome album, and for a debut? child please!
2Title Fight
Floral Green

I love that blend of hardcore/punk and whatever else Title Fight throw down with.
Solid album.
3Caspian
Waking Season

Love this album. Also, new GY!BE. the fuck!
4Make Do and Mend
Everything You Ever Loved

Listened to this like crazy when it first dropped, put it on the other day and still dug
it heavy. Fun album to play guitar along to. Also, the new Hot Water Music release
Exister was solid!
5Coheed and Cambria
The Afterman: Ascension

Two plays all the way through and this has already passed my admittedly pretty
low expectations. Down with some Coheed! YOTBR worth checking out? (I've
listened to and enjoyed all the others but steered clear of that one for whatever
reason.)
6DIIV
Oshin

+ Wild Nothing's Nocturne. Both got heavy play time, and turned me into a reverb
ho, and also got me back into porning out over guitar pedals.
7The Gaslight Anthem
Handwritten

Cemented Brian Fallon and co's place in my top 5 favorite bands. American Slang
was alright, but this kicks the ass of it IMO. Still have fun listening to this album.
8The Menzingers
On The Impossible Past

Easily my favorite release by these guys. Great band!
9Cloudkicker
Fade

+ new Lights Out Asia
10Something For Kate
Leave Your Soul To Science
