Desperate For Recs

So with my ipod nearing 37,000 songs (obviously i haven't even heard everything) i rfeel like i've run out of things to acquire, although i also feel like i'm only hearing the rmost hyped and acclaimed bands of several genres. Mostly post-rock (or anything with a large amount of rambience to it) and "prog" and or "experimental" like dredg, tool etc. i also have a desire to get into some rmetal, but can't be bothered with the vocals. A good starting point based on my list would be greatly appreciated
