That's really a good question.
Most of the genre fans are very conservative...but a talented new band attract "talented" new fans. This genre needs something fresh but true.

Some bands can have that generic progressive sound but those are the shitty ones. Thrash to me is a dead genre and has been for a long time. It had a great run in the 80s and influenced pretty much all metal around today but it ran out of ideas. I see no reason to keep rehashing the same shit but thats me. |
