09.14.12 | I agree that the riffs aren't as good as their older albums but I just love the album. I normally don't really dig political ranting/lyrics in songs but I love every song on the album especially Amerikhastan and Gears of War and yeah cool.

09.15.12 | United Abominations has some pretty strong songs, but overall it's pretty average and inconsistent. I like that A7X album as well. I don't know why. I guess because it was on Need for Speed and when I was younger and was like "kool man heavy metal m/////////////" so I guess nostalgia and whatever.
I feel as though GnR don't deserve their fame because they're really not that great. Slash is a good guitarist, his 2010 albums was one of my favourites of that year and I just bought the new one the other day but haven't listened to it yet, and they did have one fantastic album, but after Appetite they just weren't that good. All just personal opinion though, and I'm impressed that Buckethead was on the album but you know. |
