Usually just feel moderate about them, but take into account there's an audience out there who might enjoy them more than I did. As for some of these appearing on other lists, most still have just a couple of ratings, so a little more exposure can't hurt. |

08.24.12 | Take disclosure for example. 4 track garage EP on Sputnik gets 9 ratings, that's BNM by comparison round here haha. And yeah, I for one still listen to stuff that I've rated 2.5 and 3, I'm just surprised to see someone recommending them to others.

They're both garage based with house influences, though Disclosure utilize it far more
Synkro isn't future garage either, he's just garage (though he used to balance that with dubstep)
Darling Farah isn't "microhouse" either, he's dub based techno with shades of house

08.24.12 | i don't usually meddle with genre speak, but i'm genuinely curious how Synkro = garage. from a pure layman standpoint, after listening to Broken Promises, it doesn't strike me as very "garagey" but then again I don't exactly know what the qualifiers are for this sound. i would assume garage to allude to something dirty or less technical sounding idk. if it's atmosphere, then yeah that album is definitely atmospheric |
