| Finally Getting Into Converge
I've always listened to the metalcore classics like Botch, Shai Hulud, Dillinger, Coalesce, Cave In, etc. But I could never really get into Converge. It's been months since I've tried to listen to Converge but I gave Jane Doe a spin the other day and finally realized how amazing it is. I don't know why it took me so long to get into them. But last night on YouTube I was watching an interview with Jake from Converge and he said something along the lines of: "Converge isn't a band for first-level music listeners." I think that statement is absolutely true. Anyone disagree? These are the only Converge albums I have listened to, are the others worth checking out? | | 1 |  | Converge

can check out their two latest LP's, No Heroes and Axe To Fall, and also their "Pre-Jane Doe" stuff,
like Petitioning The Empty Sky and When Forever Comes Crashing.

07.22.12 | I think Axe to Fall is better than Jane Doe by just a bit, haven't listened to PtES or WFCC enough yet to rank them, but I think they'd be below Jane Doe but ahead of YFM and No Heroes.
But every album (except their debut, so I hear) are pretty great, so yeah, check them all out. | SowingSeason
