07.18.12 | thanks. i like that melody though haha. i wasn't necessarily trying to make it ambient, i just listened to the song after i was done and it sounded kind of ambient so i tagged it as electronic and ambient on soundcloud. i just try to make stuff i like rather that try to conform to a specific genre because then you start to sound the same as everyone else. thanks a lot for listening though! |

07.18.12 | yeah i'll look into it. i just finished mixing a bunch of tracks today but i'll go back tomorrow and see what that one sounds like with the main melody a little lower. it needs the melody in some capacity though because without it the song wouldn't really work in the context of the rest of the ep, which is overall much more melodic. i appreciate the advice. |
