Daken: 3 Newly Discovered Bands

Daken 06.22.12	1 is all instrumental and very atmospheric. Very dark and brooding sounding at times. Listening to it while driving at night has been pretty awesome.

Daken 06.22.12	I was very surprised I'd never heard of Cynic. Not sure if you're trolling about Children of Bodom, but I quite enjoy "Are You Dead Yet?" The 2 newest albums have been a bit of a let down for me. I think "Are You Dead Yet?" has some really great riffs on it.

Daken 06.22.12	I'm actually on a quest for finding spooky, theatrical rock music. So far only the Swedish band Ghost comes close to what I'm looking for. I can get down on some King Diamond and a little Misfits though.
Pentagon 06.22.12	If you want atmospheric music then check out Isis or either Drudkh. The former is more of a post-rock/metal band while the latter is very atmospheric black metal.

Daken 06.22.12	I have heard pre AYDY stuff. I love the neo classical stuff, but not the vocals as much(which may sound ridiculous). I just haven't listen to the older stuff as much. Nergal pic because 1: It's funny, 2: His voice is impressive for his lil body(like Dio), and 3: He beat leukemia lol.
