| 1 | Northlane
A really great up an coming Australian Metalcore band. Their debut album is one
of
the best first releases I have heard in the genre. Big prop's to them. Also a
really
good live band. |
| 2 | Pennywise
Going old school. Haven't listened to these guys for years, brings back some
really
great memories. Can't wait to see them live! So sad I missed them at Soundwave
2011:/ |
| 3 | The Black Dahlia Murder
Just recently started to listen to these guys. Saw them at Soundwave 2012 and
they put on a great show. So I decided to listen to them, I wasn't disappointed,
such great Melodic Death Metal. Easily one of the best Melodic Death bands out
there. |
| 4 | Propagandhi
Another throwback band I haven't listened to for ages, I have always loved their
message. A really really good Punk band. Hopefully they come to Soundwave next
year! |
| 5 | Cannibal Corpse
Never really gave these guys a chance before hand, however now that I started
listening to some heavier music I decided to give them a go. Not a massive fan
of
their older stuff, I'm more into Kill and so on. |
| 6 | The Bride
These guys like Northlane released a kickass debut album, I was really impressed
with President Rd. Love the pop-punk riffs they throw in occasionally. Can't
wait to
see them later this year! (On my birthday!) |
| 7 | Municipal Waste
Such an awesome Crossover thrash band. Love the art of partying, such a fun
album. Hopefully they come to Australia soon! |
| 8 | Napalm Death
Some good ol' Napalm Death, the kings of Grindcore. Really love these guys.
Hopefully I will one day get to see them Live! |
| 9 | The Amity Affliction
I will always love these guys, not everyone's cup of tea, however the message
the
bring hits me on a personal level so I will always love these guys. Can't wait
for the
new album. |
| 10 | Black Flag
Another throwback to my hardcore punk days. There has never been a night out
that we all haven't ended up screaming "We've got nothing better to do
Than watch T.V. and have a couple of brews" They always bring good times. |
