SlowlyFallingAwake 05.30.12	Only 100? Yeah, sorry bro but I'm still attending college, so I don't have the cash to buy loads of albums just yet. And seeing as I've only started collecting some 3 years ago, I consider 100 albums a nice collection already. Worst username? Didn't think so. RiffOClock's not the fanciest username either, hope you're aware of that. 100 legal, prob 400 more in my digital library. "What kind of recs?" Just really good records, can be any genre, but based on some of this stuff. Alt. Rock / stuff à la Brand New / deep and emotive albums preferably. As I mentionned, really digging Moving Mountains, Modest Mouse and such lately, so maybe something in that direction.

Listened to High Violet last year. Maybe wrong album for me? Just downloaded Circa Survive, Immanu El is next on the list. Tx Keyblade. Benkim, nope sorry. It's close to heart, that album, and my username actually comes from the hidden song 'Slowly Falling Awake' on that same album.

I bought Synchronized too (can't find the album for the life of me) but wasn't too impressed with it. @ThroneOfAgony I just like to answer elaborately on other people's comments, seeing as it's a means of improving my english. I'm a native speaker of dutch after all. Thanks for the compliment. I know a lot of people just download and burn songs but I'm a sucker for physical copies, just feels more real. Also, I appreciate artwork a lot. Isis? From what I know, they ressemble Neurosis, right? Progressive, darker metal? The kind of band that influenced Tool (amongst others). It sure gets high ratings on Sputnik.

omnipanzer 05.30.12	"You think so Omnipanzer?" Absolutely, if jazz-funk/acid-jazz is your thing Emergency traveling and cowboy (first three) are all tremendous. Try "The Return Of The Space Cowboy" next. I personally like Synchronized too but it isn't as good as those first three and Dynamite is a disappointment in general. You've literally gotten the wrong albums imho.

SlowlyFallingAwake 05.31.12	Limit might be a bad word, I meant to say I've broken the 100-album boundary, which kind of surprised me. 30stm is not the worst band ever. And if you think so, why don't you go listen to some Aiden or Bieber or sth? Whatever happened to 'to each their own'? Their self-titled is, at least, different from most albums in terms of atmosphere. And it's not the type of record to play all the time but it's not bad by any means. Just mentioned that I have the blue one as well, as a fact. Why would I want people to hate me, it's my first big post in here... Both get more than favourable reviews so I don't think I'll be hated. @ ApplicationToHeaven being sarcastic or serious? If the latter is true, thanks.
SlowlyFallingAwake 01.28.13	Some of your recs were truly enlightening. Especially Isis, Radiohead, Converge, The Dear Hunter. Digging Circa Survive and Mars Volta too lately. I've actually bought almost the entire discography of Radiohead, missing just 1 album. It's amazing how much bashing is going on in this thread though, kind of hilarious actually. I agree on the fact that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I wasn't expecting so much elitism.
