3.0 good | maninthebox | March 17th 13 | On their debut album with the some what cliched title Putrid Death Sorcery, Necrowretch show some promise in the Swedish Death metal riff writing department. On the whole though the album gets bogged down by poor production and a lack of memorable songs and material overall. These guys might be someone to watch for in the future though.

3.0 good | SideShowBrian | February 20th 13 | This is indeed an OSDM album, and they have the feel and sound, but the vocals kill it for me. Specifically, it is the constant echo on them. They don't sound lo-fi, and it's not a reverb...it's an echo. The mix could be stronger too w/o losing that old-school sound.

4.0 excellent | Shiduba | February 12th 13 | A very awesome old-school death metal album which is surprisingly not Swedish (or Finnish), but French. You've heard this sort of stuff so many times before but when it's this well-made, it's hard to resist. Not an album I'm going to listen to a whole lot, but when in need of some 90's-spirited swedeath worship, you could do much worse than this.
