4.5 superb | Douglas | December 30th 12 | holy flipping heck this soundtrack is brilliant. Connecting themes from the LoTR trilogy,
and underlying the characters motifs, with their future self is a complete highlight. Howard
Shore is untouchable when it comes to middle earth. The Riddles in the Dark use of the
History of the Ring (found in the Fellowship) is charmingly brilliant.

Song of the Lonely Mountain, by Neil Finn is the definitive highlight. Befittingly perfect for a movie like this.
