3.5 great | TheManMachine | June 26th 16 | Though it'd be nice to see the vox fixate on variance as half-much as they do malignity, the agonized she+he venom-spitting sprinkled with samplings of antisocial sentiments are frequently vehement and dare I say deliciously diabolical. For industria-beats so mechanical+aggressive+minatory they'd sound at home on the killing floor of a futuristic terrorist compound, suitable supplements indeed. Not to say it's absolute thickheaded carnage -- floating-ghost synths help channel celestiality, plenty of intricacies and subtleties are there for the pickin', they're not opposed to churnin' out some catchy+melodic, and occasional plunges into slowed-down sparsity grant the listener some breathing room while our vocalists get their decrepit-elder on. Pretty positive that a gagged woman is getting whipped at one point, though.

3.5 great | cjbizzlebizzle | December 13th 17 | Industrial beats somewhat reminiscent of Pretty Hate Machine era with an energetic, relentless vocalist in Sara Taylor. The beats and production are the strongest elements of Commitment to Complications while the vocals, as many have mentioned, are good but somewhat monotonous. Taylor's yells are complimentary to the mechanical, dark feelings brought on by the synths but she sticks to the same style of vocals for 100% of her output. A bit more variety in the approach could really allow Youth Code to make something for the ages but what they have is a really good blend of booming industrial music and punky shouted vocals. Doghead, Avengement and The Dust of Fallen Rome are standouts.

3.4 great | Trey STAFF | April 13th 16 | This reminds me of 'Addiction'-era Skinny Puppy goes digital hardcore. Musically it is really good, which shouldn't be a surprise since Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly, Fear Factory) produced it. The stickler is the monotone shouted vocals. They're not bad, but they need to diversify the vocal delivery.

4.5 superb | TecumsehGargoyle | May 17th 17 | Nice old-school industrial, all of the tracks have their own charm. "Glass Spitter" , "Anagnorisis" and "Lost at Sea" are my favorite tracks.
