4.0 excellent | Gary STAFF | April 19th 21 | This was so much fun. Perhaps it is more thrash than black metal, but this riffs incredibly hard! Far more melody-centered album than anything from the Impaled Nazarene discography before, and it was a very welcomed change. The production is also far better than expected, and I especially enjoyed the guitar tone. Speaking of guitars, the various extra influences which come from trad. heavy metal and grind made this album really memorable. Very well executed album.

3.0 good | SkapalPes | July 2nd 14 | This is pretty different IN, with untraditionally melodic guitars (only album w/ Somnium of Finntroll) and clean production, what is possibly not the best option for the band long known for its roughness and aggresiveness. Music is more thrash and punk than black metal, heavy metal (!) influences are heard also, tempos are not so furiously fast (but there are some of course). All in all, this one may displease some fans of brutal way, but I take it as a welcome change in IN`s extensive discography.
