Mongol 800 is a Japanese rock band consisting of three members, Kiyosaku Uezu(vocal and guitar), Takashi Gima(guitar) and Satoshi Takazato(drum). They formed in 1998, when they were high school students. They released their first album “Go on as you are” in 1999, and second album “Message” in 2001, despite low commercial attention, the album “Message” was sold over two-million records. Their music encompasses daily life, with many love songs that are heart hitting, such as Ryukyu Aika, Dear my lover and their most popular song “Chiisana koi no uta”. Several years afterwards they released more albums with just as much success.
