Wig Wam was started up by guitarist Teeny, vocalist Glam, bassist Flash and drummer Sporty, in Østfold in Norway. They started up in 2001 as a cover band, and played songs from bands like AC/DC, Twisted Sister, Guns 'N Roses and Kiss, and soon they became a big rock act in the local community, and in the rest of Norway as well.
In 2004, they participaded in the Norwegian ESC final with their own song
