Waterparks is a band from Houston, Texas. Awsten Knight (Vocals/Guitar) and Gage Matthieu (Vocals/Bass) got together and started writing songs in mid-2011 for what later become Airplane Conversations, the band's debut EP. Awsten and Gage recruited friend and drummer Owen Marvin, and recorded their EP. Matthew and Marvin soon left the band, to be replaced by Geoff Wigington and Otto Woods. The band subsequently released two more EPs, Black Light (2014) and Cluster (2016), before releasing their first LP Double Dare (2016).
