THE AMITY AFFLICTION has come a long way since their debut live performance in early 2004. Fromtheir humble beginnings in a smallSouth-East Queensland town, The band quickly became one of Brisbane's most respected and reveredlive acts.
In mid-2005, the band released their debut self-titled EP through MODERN MUSIC / SonyBMG. Thisrelease earned the band critical acclaim and a solid fan base throughout Australia with their uniquesound often compared to the likes of UNDEROATH, EVERGREEN TERRACE and ALEXISONFIRE. Aftera short hiatus and line-up change, along with the addition of keyboards and samples courtesy of TRAD,the band (completed by JOEL on Vocals, AHREN on Vocals/Bass, TROY on Guitars and RYAN onDrums) have just completed their sophomore release, an EP/DVD
