Strike Anywhere is a melodic hardcore punk band from Richmond, Virginia formed in 1999. Some may recognize the vocalist, Thomas Barnett. Barnett played in Inquisition between 1991 and 1996. The name Strike Anywhere actually comes from an Inquisition song of the same name. Strike Anywhere is known for their fiercely political and energetic songs.

Their most recent release, To Live In Discontent, is a re-issue of the Chorus of One EP with tracks from The Bread of Revolution 7" on Fat Wreck Chords, "Two Fuses," an Exit English b-side, and various covers from other releases.

Recently they signed to Fat Wreck Chords and are now planning on releasing their follow-up to Exit English, Dead FM on September 5th, 2006. « hide
