Spoon

Spoon is an American 3.9/5 indie rock band from Austin, Texas with a wide underground following. The band consists of BrittDaniel(vocals, guitar); Jim Eno (drums); Rob Pope (bass) and Eric Harvey (keyboard, guitar, percussion, backing vocals).Thebandwas formed in 1994 by lead singer/guitarist Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno during a party on Kimbolton Avenue. ThenameSpoon was chosen as a respectful salute to the 1970s German avant-garde band Can whose hit record "Spoon" was thethemesong to the movie Das Messer. Incidentally, the film title translates to another utensil (and band)—the Knife.
