A Mercury Prize-nominated alto saxophonist and rapper, the London-based Soweto Kinch released his
debut album Conversations With the Unseen in 2003 to critical acclaim, but modest sales. A
2006 follow-up entitled A Life in the Day of B19: Tales of the Tower Block was largely ignored,
despite a guest appearance on Coldcut's Sound Mirrors that same year.
