Shojotai (sometimes stylized as Shojo-tai or Shohjotai) were a Japanese idol-pop trio that formed in 1984. The trio went on to release eight albums and fifteen singles, but ended up splitting by late 1989. Although Shojotai failed to attract a big mainstream following during their time together, they currently have an impressive cult following, over three decades after their initial disbandment.
