Rize are a Japanese punk/nu metal band that formed in 1997. They are known for their hard rock and nu-metal crunch in their
songs (especially in their earlier material), and, along with Dragon Ash & Maximum the Hormone, Rize are credited to help
skyrocket the nu-metal fad in Japan, which started initially around the late 90's and the early 2000's. Since 2010's album
"Experience", the band has been the alternative rock style as well.
