Rentrer en Soi were a successful Japanese visual kei band that formed in 2001. In the beginning, they had a softer rock sound,akin to melodic
alternative rock, but later developed a much more aggressive sound that bordered on metalcore grounds atcertain times. They unfortunately split in
2008, but managed to perform three times overseas, and almost played in NYC at the Nokia Theatre Times Square venue.
