Pupil are a Filipino alternative rock/post-punk band that formed in 2003 under the name of The Mongols. Pupil marked the return
of legendary Filipino rock frontman, Ely Buendia of Eraserheads fame, who split in 2002. The group released their debut album,
"Beautiful Machines" in 2005, and have since been considered one of the bigger names of modern Filipino alternative rock.
