Nusantara Beat is a six-piece band based in Amsterdam, formed by musicians with Indonesian roots and a love for traditional music. Drawing inspiration from 20th century Indonesian songs, the band combines their cultural heritage with their own creative style to produce tropical and mystical sounds. Members have played in other notable bands, including Jungle By Night, Pom, EUT, The Mysterons, Maple and Surf Aid Kit. Nusantara Beat’s music showcases the rich and diverse Indonesian music while taking it into the future, inviting audiences to join them on a journey to their ancestral land.
