Namie Amuro is a popular Japanese pop/R&B artist that first surfaced in the early 90's as a member of Super Monkey's. After
Super Monkey's split in 1996, Namie Amuro went on to enjoy a tremendously successful solo career, and sold over 30 million
records in Japan alone, making her one of Japan's best selling artists of all time. She also populated the R&B style around Japan,
and is considered to be the "Queen of J-pop" in her homeland.
