Mouse on Mars are a duo from Düsseldorf, in Germany. The duo has been around since 1993 and have released nine albums and several EP's. Their music combines a mixture of ambient, techno, and mellow electronica. They are known for their constant experimentation, alternating their sound with different subgenre characteristics between each release. This allows each album to pitch its own defined style while maintaining the duo's overall trademark sound. Although their commercial success has been less marked Mouse of Mars continue to consistently received critical acclaim for their work.
