Mendeed are a metal band from Glasgow that have recently released their first full length, 'This War Will Last Forever'. The band are a mix of power and thrash metal with a little bit of metalcore thrown in. Their influences range from old-school metal bands such as Metallica, Slayer and Pantera and they have also been compared to modern, leading metal acts such as Unearth, Lamb Of God and In Flames. Their sound is an amalgamation of poundng double bass and energetic drumming, searing solos and guitar riffs and screamed vocals. Mendeed has recently decided to part ways. However, Steven Nixon is now a guitarist for the groundbreaking metal act, Anterior.
