Mantra is an alternative metal solo project of Zack Goodenough from McKinney, Texas. He mixes elements of folk, alternative,shoegaze, jazz rock, ambient and extreme metal to create atmosphere and depth to his creations, a genre of music he refers toas “Spirit Rock”. Zack is a founding member of the metal band Golgatha with his brother Alex, though his solo work is muchmore subtle and dynamic.
