Luscious Jackson are an alternative rock band from New York City. Forming in 1991, the band managed to successfully blend a unique formula, with elements added from alternative rock, hip hop, indie pop, and even some trip hop. They split in 2000, due to the band wanting to devote more time to their personal lives. They recently reunited, and in November of 2013, released "Magic Hour", their first album in over a decade.
