Self-called hitmaker Lobao has been on the genesis of the sound and style of the musical genre know as BRrock, that is, rock
made in Brazil free from the heritage of Bossa Nova and Tropicalia. Lobao was a former member of Blitz, a hugely successful
group that paved the way for a relaxed, post-dictatorship music, but early on he went solo writing many n.01 radio hits such
as Me Chama and Vida Louca Vida.
Lobao released an autobiography on 2010 that became n.01 and launched him as a tv host and political figure, that soon
devoured his musical carreer.
