Kuroyume

Kuroyume are a highly influential visual kei band from Japan, that first formed in 1991. Throughout their career, they were credited as being one of thefirst mainstream bands to popularize the grim Nagoya branch in visual kei, but went on a hiatus in 1999. In that hiatus, frontman Kiyoharu went on toform the polar opposite of Kuroyume, SADS, which was essentially Kiyoharu's solo project. In 2009, the band officially split, but officially reformed a yearlater.
