Jacques Loussier is a French Pianist most famous for his "Play Bach", where he uses the compositions of J.S. Bach as themes for jazz
improvisation. He formed the Play Bach Trio In 1959 Pierre Michelot (bass) and Christian Garros (percussion). AS of 1985 the Trio has
had rotating members all forming around Loussier and his interpretations of various classical composer's works as jazz improvisation
pieces.
