Himekami is an influential Japanese new age band, formed in 1980 by acclaimed keyboardist Yoshiaki Hoshi. Himekami remained
very active for slightly over two decades, until the sudden death of Hoshi in 2004. Since Yoshiaki Hoshi's death, Himekami
remain sporadically active today, releasing their latest album, which was untitled, in 2008. It was the band's first release since
Hoshi's death, and is also their most recent as well.
