Hal from Apollo '69 was a Japanese alternative rock duo that formed in 1991. Consisting of frontwoman Hal and
guitarist/arranger Zoe, the duo quickly found a cult following in the Japanese underground scene for their unique mixture of
gothic, avant-garde, dub and noise elements. In 2001, the group underwent a mysterious hiatus, and returned in 2004 as a tour
band. In 2006, after over a decade together, Hal from Apollo '69 finally ended up disbanding.
