Great Cynics

GREAT CYNICS play straight up, short and catchy punk rock songs influenced by The Lemonheads and Against Me.

Great Cynics started off as Giles Bidder’s solo acoustic project. Giles played his first UK tour by accident in July 2009, when he played a show in Peterborough with Holland’s Tim Vantol and was invited to join the remaining 10 dates in pubs and front rooms. In May 2010 he released his debut 7” single ‘Stones I’ve Thrown’ through Happy Days Records, which was met with a host of positive reviews resulting in support slots with Against Me!, Paint It Black and a slot at Fest 9 in Gainesville, Florida (curated by No Idea Records).
