Going Steady were a highly influential Japanese punk band that formed in 1996. They were known for their frantic, playful style
of punk, while keeping the traditional punky aggression in tact. They unfortunately split in 2003, and released only two full
length albums, however, Going Steady remains one of the most influential Japanese punk bands in recent history, and their
influence can be compared to the likes of The Blue Hearts (a godlike name in the Japanese punk scene).
