release of the'Fourways to scream your name' EP, that featured three additional songs that appeared on 'Cd&dc.
The band's second album "Hours" was released in 2005 to good reception, though some fans expressed disappointment
atthelack of screaming vocals and more sombre mood throughout the record.
The band's third studio album entitled "Tales Don't Tell Themselves" was released in May 2007. Mostly a concept classic rock
album, this alienated many of the bands fans but shown that the band were not afraid to step outside the shell the public had
created for them.
On October 13th and 26th in the UK and US respectively, the bands fourth album "Memory and Humanity" was released. This
album, like Tales Don't Tell Themselves, also featured a more Alternative Rock based sound. The band then released a
greatest hits album, 'Your History Is Mine' in September 2009, which featured 4 new songs which harkened back to the bands
earlier Post Hardcore sound while still having elements of the Alternative Rock sound they used on 'Memory and Humanity'.
In late 2010, they released the 'Young and Defenceless' EP, which was followed by a new album, 'Welcome Home
Armageddon' in March 2011. These releases featured Funeral returning to their earlier Post Hardcore sound. The band
continued this direction with their 2013 album 'Conduit', which still kept elements of the bands sound, but with more of a
Hardcore Punk influence. « hide |
