Focal Point was a short lived Hardcore punk band from California, who released a 7" vinyl record on Life Sentence Records
andtheir only full-length album on Tooth & Nail Records (later released under sublabel Solid State Records). The band is notable
asbeing the starting band for guitarist Ryan Clark who would later go on to become the guitarist/lead vocalist
ofmetalcore/mathcore band Training for Utopia, the lead vocalist for alternative metal/metalcore band Demon Hunter, and
aGrammy Award-nominated graphic designer with design companies Asterik Studio and Invisible Creature.
