ESSENCE is a five-pieced progressive metalcore band founded in Maasmechelen, Belgium, in 2005. Think ‘August Burns Red’, ‘Elitist’ and ‘Architects’. After several line-up changes over the years we became the solid five-pieced band we are today, consisting of vocalist Michiel, drummer Steve, guitarists Maarten and Dieter and bassist Jelle. Stay put for the release of our first full-length album ‘The Defining Elements’.
