Da Pump is a Japanese all-male pop/hip-hop idol group from Japan, that originally formed in 1996 in Onikawa. The original
lineupconsisted of Issa,Shinobu, Yukinari & Ken, and with this lineup, Da Pump made tremendous achievements, like being one of
thefirst hugely successful all-male idolgroups not associated with Johnny's Entertainment. Unfortunately, the original lineup
shookup when Shinobu left in 2006 due to a drinking-while-driving scandal. This put Da Pump in a hiatus, and over time, Ken
&Yukinari left as well, leaving Issa as the only original member. Nowadays, DaPump consists of Issa and several other
guys,making Da Pump an official idol mega-group. Da Pump are still making music today, but haven't made afull-length album
since thedeparture of Shinobu, Yukinari & Ken in 2006.
