Cokelat is an alternative rock band from Indonesia that formed in 1996. In February of 2000, the group released its first album
“Untuk Bintang”, which was critically acclaimed for its signature sound that blended elements of post-grunge and dream pop. In
2010, frontwoman Kikan left, and she was then replaced by Sarah. In 2012, Sarah also left, and she was then replaced by J.
Presumably due to their unsteady lineup and revolving door regarding vocalists, Cokelat have not released an album since 2008’s
“Panca Indera”, although they have since released a few singles since.
