Butterfingers is one of the few modern rock innovator in Malaysia. They have opened up the path for other Malaysian rock bands to a new direction, to break from the normal Malaysian rock sound and give these bands a new panorama. What used to be a nirvana-grunge influenced band has transformed itsself into a progressive and experimental rock band, among the first in Malaysia, or Asia even. This band has deviated from the norm and is considered rock gods in the Malaysian underground rock scene. The current members of Butterfingers are Kadak (Bass), Loco (Drummer), Emmett (Vocalist) and Loque (Guitar).
